Special Delivery {Lindsay Letters Letterpress Plate}
Every once in a while, our
Studio Calico Creative Team kit boxes include something new and coming and, this month, I was surprised with a beautiful
Letterpress Plate and Craft Die set designed by calligrapher Lindsay of
Lindsay Letters for Studio Calico. It's a plate with uppercase letters, an ampersand (!) and a cutie pie wreath, which is perfect to frame your pressed letters.
I was able to finish two cards so far, both made with items from the Studio Calico February
card kit Sugar Rush and
add-on Taffy (available on 1/27 for logged in SC kit subscribers, or midnight EST on the 28th for everyone).
Yes, the lover of beautiful stationary in me was selfish enough to impress some envelopes with my very own initials. I see some custom stationary gifts in my friend's future, though =)
For this second card (3x3"), I used the letterpress wreath together with the Lindsay Letters stamps that came with the Cuppa card kit. The letterpressed frame on cork and the stamped sentiment work really well together here (the frame in the stamp set is a tad smaller in case you wondered).
I hope you liked my samples for today! I'll be back tomorrow with my gallery cards for the Sugar Rush kits and later this week with a little tutorial on how I did the letterpressing. Happy Reveal Day!
