Hello there, my name is Dana and I'm a thirty-something who, between office work and college, loves to squeeze in some crafty time.

As you probably already know if you browsed my blog a little: I have a thing for making homemade cards and mini albums from pretty paper. My other passion is photography, hence, the blog name pixels & glue was born. With paper crafting and photo taking as my favorite leisure activity, it was no wonder that, sooner or later, I fell in love with the scrapbooking community. That was in fall 2008 exactly.

Since that time, I had the chance to learn and grow as a crafter and picture taker. I've met some wonderful people online and in real life through this hobby and was offered the opportunity to work in this amazing industry. First, as a regular contributor to the print magazine Scrap-Art-Zine and from December 2012 - 2016 as a card designer for a company I have always admired for their beautiful designs and inspiring papercrafting kits, Studio Calico. My newest adventure is designing cards and other craft projects with Dani Peuss' fabulous Klartext stamps.

I'm curious where this journey will lead me and I hope you follow along for the adventure. When I'm not on my blog, you can find me on Pinterest browsing for ideas or on Instagram sharing my latest craft projects.

Thanks for visiting!
